The Bryden Centre for Advanced Marine & Bio-Energy Research (The Bryden Centre), led by Queen's University, has been awarded €9,367,401.45 ERDF under the INTERREG VA Programme. The project will create a ‘virtual centre of competence' that will support cross-border research into biomass and marine-based renewable energy sources.This project has been supported by the EU's INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), bringing partners from Western Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland together.
