The Parenting PATH (formerly Exchange/SCAN) is a local, non-profit agency with a 37-year track record of making the world a safer place for our children. The Parenting PATH is a non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent and treat child abuse. This mission is accomplished through a variety of services aimed at strengthening families, enhancing parent-child relationships, and increasing community awareness. The primary child abuse prevention agency in northwest North Carolina, the Parenting PATH provides 9 different programs to prevent and treat child abuse in Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Rockingham, Rowan, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin counties.
