The City of Lethbridge is the third largest City in Alberta and is the commercial, financial, transportation and industrial centre of southern Alberta. City government is led by eight councillors and a mayor who are elected every four years. Lethbridge is also a leader in post-secondary education with both the University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge College attracting thousands of students to the city each year.
