Anthrosite Architects is a Newcastle based architectural practice directed by Dana Hutchinson and Mark Spence. A strong emphasis with each project is given to a critical design process, in particular the response to ‘people' and ‘place'. We believe it is a fundamental requirement that each project's unique circumstances are thoughtfully discussed through analysis. In identifying the project constraints, opportunities are established. Key to our process is the engagement of a collaborative design approach. Maintaining a transparent dialogue with our clients, consultants and contractors allows solutions that might not have been envisaged; to be realised. Our aim with each project is to engage the human experience. Beginning in the design process through to complete habitation. We believe in the creative process and look for opportunities in projects of all types, scales and budgets.
