In 1995 Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc. (ASU), was established in Boise, Idaho, to meet the growing demand for night vision systems within public and civil aviation operations. In 2015 ASU expanded to meet growing staff and capacity requirements by adding 27,000 sq. ft. that includes 15,000 sq. ft. of hangar space, a 4,000 sq. ft. manufacturing area, and 8,000 sq. ft. of office space, much of which is dedicated to research and development of innovative new products and solutions.
