WHAT IS SMARTBAR?SmartBar is an Australian-based manufacturer and distributor of polymer vehicle protection for the passenger and 4X4 SUV markets. Established in 1996 SmartBar became a wholly owned subsidiary of ARB in 2014 with their headquarters in Adelaide, South Australia.HOW DO THEY WORK?Engineered polymer material and hollow construction provides the SmartBar with the unique ability to absorb an impact and return to its original shape afterwards. This absorption helps to reduce the amount of damage to the vehicle in the event of high energy impacts such as animal strikes.HOW ARE THEY MADE?SmartBar uses a Linear Low Density Polythylene (LLDPE) Copolymer resin specifically designed for Rotational Moulding applications. SmartBar specifically formulate their powder, finely grinding the LLDPE and blending it with the necessary additives which suit the end products' application. The result is an optimum quality, consistent product that is lightweight, tough, chemical and impact resistant and UV Stable.
