NE32 Media Hub is a new Community Organisation that has developed out of a demand for charitable groups to come together in the area. In the last couple of years South Tyneside local authority due to financial pressure has handed over a number of their Community Centres to local charitable groups to run and survive independently.We have assembled a small team of people who have skills in Social Media, Computers, Writing Skills, Journalism & Photography who are willing to run a project to help fellow community organisations with their marketing and media needs.-We want to offer the local and regional community the opportunity to capture their moments, events, parties, families and activities through photography and digital arts. It is often difficult for people and communities to afford a professional, high quality service when it comes to photography and promotional videos.-We have a small studio space as a base running from our local community centre and able to provide these services to individuals, the community and other non-profit organisations.-At affordable costs, the community will benefit by being able to access a service that is often out of there price range. By also introducing a drop in service to anyone and any organisation in the community we are ensuring that there is a full array of benefits available to them.-We want to bring the local community the ability to take part in workshops.-We will provide a mix of workshops that will allow people of all ages to take part in ranging from Digital Story Telling, Employ-ability Aid, Photography and creating a monthly Community Newsletter that would be provided to the community using variable methods to deploy.
