General Pneumatics was established in Kempton Park in 1978. The original product range consisted of a range of quick couplers for the pneumatic air-tool industry. The company later expanded its scope to include air-tools as well. In 1988 General Pneumatics opened a branch in Durban. In 1996 the branch was bought by Mr. Roy Saunders who was a director in the original company, and the name was changed to General Pneumatics Natal Pty Ltd. After this development, the company 's product range was expanded to include pneumatic fittings and tubing.Due to an aggressive marketing strategy and an attitude of striving to be the best in our field, we have grown to be one of the major players in the industrial pneumatic supply market. Our product range has grown with the company to include the full spectrum of pneumatic products from air preparation to directional control and actuation
