DK3's mission is to engage women, men, and Veterans in a unique version of 3x3 wheelchair basketball while attracting the highest level of talent and allowing other players the opportunity to play with the "Best" i.e. Paralympic Gold Medalists, National Champions, and Hall of Famers. In doing so, we seek to create awareness of the movement of 3x3 wheelchair basketball in our country and the world. Grew up in Orange County, CA, a Sacramento State University alum and a current resident of Mooresville, NC, David Kiley, a.k.a 'DK,' is one of the most well-known and respected wheelchair basketball athletes of the past 40+ years. A Paralympic Multi-Gold Medalist with decades of experience as a player and a coach, he has transformed the sport of wheelchair basketball through his innovative leadership, ideas and visionary approach; hence the nickname "The King." DK is committed to seeing 3x3 wheelchair basketball (DK3) played in a unique format in different cities across the United States and the world while supporting 3x3 into the Paralympic Games by 2028. We are seeking partners and sponsors who can help us host the first ever DK3 Venice Beach Veterans Championships in October 2019. More updates available on our website.
