Mercy Secondary School Ballymahon is a Catholic Voluntary Secondary School in Co. Longford under the Trusteeship of CEIST, which is influenced by the values of the Sisters of Mercy. We, as a Catholic School aim to educate the whole person, developing the full potential of each and aiming to prepare our students for life. We encourage the pursuit of excellence in our teaching and learning opportunities.First established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1924, we became Co-Educational in 1959. We operate under the Trusteeship of CEIST. We are a Catholic School but we welcome students of different faiths.
