Seniors for Climate Action is a federal 501(c)4 not-for-profit corporation that is dedicated to providing the information necessary for seniors to make informed choices about how to take personal and immediate action to address the issue of climate change. To this end, Seniors for Climate Action has developed the website: https://SeniorClimateAction.org. We believe that climate change is the greatest threat that humanity has ever faced and that the current efforts to address this issue fall woefully short of the immense changes in human society that will be necessary to halt climate change before it becomes catastrophic and irreversible. We further believe that humanity needs to urgently and dramatically lower its overall introduction of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gasses into the Earth's atmosphere. Primarily, we believe that humanity must end its dependence on fossil fuels as rapidly as possible and we believe that senior citizens can lead the way on this issue.. Donations contributed to Seniors for Climate Action are accepted but only tax deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
