The District's All Hazards Response includes vehicular accidents; technical rescue including confined space, structural collapse, high angle and trench rescue; hazmat and CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense); dive and beach/marine rescue; natural gas and propane leaks and explosions; active shooter incidents; emergency management response and assistance during natural disasters and search and rescue.The North Collier Fire Control and Rescue District was formed on January 1, 2015, by the merger of two existing special independent fire districts – the North Naples Fire Control and Rescue District and the Big Corkscrew Island Fire Control and Rescue District.
