In 2014, passenger transport giant Go-Ahead and rail specialist software company Assertis joined forces to create OnTrack Retail. Their mission -- to create a new player in the oligopoly* that is online rail ticket retailing -- took just 10 months; a triumph of modern software delivery techniques, blood, sweat and caffeine. Lots of caffeine. We launched to the public in late 2015 with many unique features, a massive backlog, and ideas above our station.Since then we've gone on to provide a world-class ticket issuing system, industry-leading desktop and mobile interfaces, best-in-class administration systems and a truly innovative Delay Repay solution. Recently we've made our first foray into the wonderful world of buses and we're making moves as an API provider to other developers.
