Carbon dioxide has to be sucked out of the atmosphere, and the most efficient way to do this today is by planting trees. The problem? No one is incentivised financially; investors can't get a return and land owners see it as waste of valuable resource. Treeconomy is here to fix this. We use high quality remote sensing techniques (drone-based LiDAR and satellite imagery) to exactly quantify carbon captured and stored by trees. We package the carbon captured financially and sell this is as very high quality carbon offset to industries with hard-to-abate emissions, such as the aviation sector.
