The University of Cambridge's modern and contemporary art gallery, a house with a permanent collection of modern art, a gallery showing a varied programme of exhibitions and a busy events programme including concerts and activities for all ages. The House at Kettle's Yard was created by Jim Ede, former curator at the Tate Gallery, who lived here from 1958-1973, in 1966 he gave the house and its contents to the University of Cambridge. Entry to the House and gallery is free. Kettle's Yard is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation.
