Welcome to SWFL Transportation Group, home of Bluebird Taxi, Yellow Cab, Checker Airport Transportation, Bluebird Mobility and Bluebird Executive Sedan Transportation. As Southwest Florida's largest taxi and airport transportation company, our goal is to provide world-class customer service and unrivaled value. Our dispatch center utilizes the most up-to-date taxi dispatch software with computerized, GPS tracking and dispatching. Our drivers are drug tested and background checked for local licensing requirements. All vehicles are licensed and insured and have been inspected to meet the requirements for operation in the City of Fort Myers, Lee, Collier and Charlotte Counties. SWFL Transportation Group was the first transportation company in the area to "go green." With a mix of hybrid and propane-equipped vehicles, SWFL Transportation Group is doing its part to lessen the carbon footprint we leave behind. SWFL Transportation Group is a family business, which is locally owned and operated. We have been under the same ownership since 1994. As active members in the Taxicab, Limousine, and Paratransit Association (TLPA) and Florida Taxi Association (FTA), we strive to grow and mature with the transportation industry. Other corporate memberships include Better Business Bureau (BBB), Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, and Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce. We are also actively involved with Lee County and Collier County Local Coordinating Board (LCB) and Lee County and Collier County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).
