Since 1968, the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities has looked to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. We support eligible individuals and their families in developing a vision for the future based on the individual's strengths, interests and choices. We'll also assist with identifying, creating and funding the support needed to pursue that vision.Our services within the community include:• Service and support administration• Community employment• Special Olympics• Medicaid waivers• Child development assistanceWe'll always ensure that those with developmental disabilities feel included, have freedom of choice and recognize their self-worth.
