The SANCTUARY Web Platform will give law enforcement, homelessness-focused NPOs and organizations, and social advocates, visibility into a real time map of Austin and the surrounding areas and the available locations for emergency housing. These advocates will then be able to request housing through a centralized call center and can immediately approve the location and make all the necessary arrangements. Our medical and mental health partners can be routed directly to clients as well, through our community partners.Victims of domestic violence and other approved homeless communities will no longer have to go from site-to-site only to be rejected, and law enforcement officers will eliminate thousands of hours of wasted time that could be better utilized protecting the citizens they serve. The SANCTUARY Program, in coordination with the Survive2Thrive Foundation and other key state and local service organizations and NPOs in the Austin area will provide key services, including:• Responsible management of the homeless population in Austin.• Adaptive programming that meets a victim's needs.• Tangible, measurable progress and results.• Sustainable income through continued financial support. The need for a tool linking all of the existing resources together and the ability to track progress for the victims involved with these resources, will allow existing agencies to better assist those in need. The goal of SANCTUARY is to integrate each vital resource available and provide a tangible result for everyone involved, victims and first responders alike.
