I paint landscapes, in oils, and exhibit around the UK. The coast is the primary inspiration for my painting, and I spend as much time there as possible.My work is an amalgamation of elements – a visual memory of a place, an emotional memory of a time, the stories and narratives trailing through my head. Sometimes this pushes my work further into symbolic abstraction, although there is always an horizon and recognizable landscape. I work in oils, on high quality canvas. The colour, texture and depth achievable with oil seems superior to any other medium.My work retails from around £700-£1500. I also work on a commissioned basis, and welcome any enquiries.
