Photography Bio: Darren Ornitz was born in Greenwich, Connecticut in May of 1985. He studied at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University before transferring to Fordham University. He graduated in 2008 with a degree in International Studies and Fine Arts.His passion for travel and photography has taken him all over the world. He has traveled extensively throughout Africa and Asian, to more than 25 countries, including Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Yemen, and Oman. He most recently returned from Port-au-Prince, Haiti in February, and plans to go back to establish a photography workshop for orphanaged children.Darren works as a freelance travel, event, and commercial photographer and is available for assignments throughout the world. He also is a USCG licensed Captain and is a Co founder of American Pressed Bakery.
