Stowe was founded by a group of university undergraduates who found the same problem each year: during the holidays, when we had to move out of our accommodation, we had to store our belongings in expensive, far-away, and desolate storage lockers. We wanted to find cheap, close, secure, and easy storage options, especially for short periods of time like holidays, so we created Stowe to connect with people who we could trust to store our belongings. We were able to store our belongings with graduate students who had extra space in their spare room, and this encouraged us to spread this solution to students - and everyone else - who faced a similar problem. Our mission is simple: to connect people who need space with people who have space - and in turn, connect the student communities around us.
