Opened in 1962 as Nashville's first public entertainment and meeting venue, the NMA has hosted many signature events over the course of our fifty year history. That legacy continues today, with the Auditorium continuing to be a great downtown Nashville location to host your concert, corporate meeting, cheerleading competition, family theater, basketball, or motorsports event.The Nashville Municipal Auditorium can host 9,000 in the round or up to 7,500 in a 270 degree configuration. A masking curtain is available for smaller groups of 1,000 – 6,000. The arena floor measures 168w x 196 l (33,928 sq ft with risers out) or 87w x 196l (17,052 sq ft with risers in).Located in downtown Nashville, the NMA is near major hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs.
