The Schenectady City School District, with a population of approximately 9,500 students, is one of the largest districts in the Capital Region. The district includes eleven elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school and an adult and continuing education center. All of Schenectady's school are filled with rich culture and diversity with students who speak more than thirty different languages.
