Student Attorney and Vice President of Practice Standards at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau - Cambridge, MA, US
The Harvard Legal Aid Bureau provides free legal services to low-income people in civil (non-criminal) matters in order to ensure equal access to justice and to remove legal barriers to economic opportunity. We specialize in four major areas of practice: housing, family, government benefits, and wage and hour law. The help we offer ranges from referrals to full case representation, depending on client need and available resources. The Bureau is an entirely student-run non-profit law firm currently composed of approximately 40 second and third year Harvard Law School students who provide free civil legal services to a diverse population of low-income clients in the Greater Boston area. As the nation's oldest student legal services organization, the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau aspires to be an engine for progressive change and social justice.Photo by Emma Raviv
