Our company is composed of 8 commercial fishing enterprises, drawing upon countless generations of First Nations fishermen‘s experience to selectively harvest the highest quality salmon. Our premium wild salmon products come from responsibly sourced fisheries, bringing the uniqueness of each fishery to meet our high standards of Quality, Value and Sustainability. We draw from countless generations of First Nations experience to selectively harvest the best River Select wild salmon – all within the pristine rivers of British Columbia. We take pride in who we are, not just as fishers, but as fishing communities. For that reason, our fisheries conserve our natural environments by respecting strict measures around selective fishing and quality control and by doing so, place the needs of our rivers and the life it holds first.The Cooperative's member fisheries have received a Certification from the Ocean Wise Seafood Program, which makes it easy for consumers to make sustainable seafood choices that ensure the health of our oceans for generations to come. Seafood Traceability Products come with a scannable QR code, which shows consumers who harvested the salmon and where it was harvested. A link is also provided to the River Select Fisheries Cooperative website where consumers can access local profiles, images and the exciting stories of the fisheries the salmon come from. From River to Plate Products are market ready, processed and packaged to showcase the unique flavours of wild salmon from BC's greatest rivers. We trace our salmon directly to registered river fisheries that are accountable to the highest standards of government regulation.
