Karen credits a lifetime of good and not so good choices for her ability to relate with clients. She has personal experience with childhood abuse, miscarriages, death of a child, addiction and recovery. She would be honored to extend acceptance, lack of judgment, and the feeling of safety a wonderful therapist extended to her. Karen maintains an intimate practice in Lake Mary, where she is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern.A blend of life experience, counseling technique, "realness," the ability to meet you where you are and a sense of humor make Karen unique. Primarily a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, she has a passion for helping clients with addictions, depression, anxiety, mental illnesses, teen trauma, young adult stressors, and parent-child conflicts, past trauma, grief, relationship difficulty, and changes that "just happen" in life.
