Mission: We are a community driven nonprofit serving Dulles residents and the surrounding area, providing nutritious food, personal supplies and life changing social services to our neighbors in need. Core Values: Guest Dignity: Guests come from all walks of life and living situations. Whatever their cultural, religious, racial or ethnic background, each guest should be treated with love, dignity and respect. We protect guest privacy and keep the guests’ information and circumstances confidential to ensure we are a safe place to get food and help. Strengthen Community: The DSFP actively seeks to involve the entire community in its effort to feed the hungry and assist the needy of Dulles South. The Pantry brings the community (adults and youth) together by seeking and utilizing community donations (food, monetary and services) from a wide-range of groups, organizations and individuals. Volunteer Involvement: Volunteers are the backbone of DSFP and we strive to ensure they are adequately trained, have a good experience and are not placed in uncomfortable situations. The pantry seeks to actively involve many volunteers believing that a widespread personal investment in the DSFP mission strengthens the organization. Cooperation with Arcola UMC: The facilities DSFP utilizes are donated from Arcola United Methodist Church and have multiple users. Food Safety: We ensure that the food we distribute meets applicable governmental regulations, industry standards and is healthy and nutritious.
