The company has established a solid reputation for providing contracted and ad-hoc helicopter services across diverse sectors including the mining and petroleum Industries, utility suppliers, health, government and community services. The resultant range of capabilities is unrivaled in Australia with specialisations that include; Emergency and Rescue Services, aerial sling work, aerial intelligence and surveillance, offshore, MPT, IFR, NVG, construction, electronic information gathering, mapping with data transmission, and specialist aerial patrol, inspection and reporting. Heliwest also provides frequent ad-hoc helicopter rescue and surveillance services to DFES, AMSA, WA Police, and the mining community throughout WA. Heliwest also operates a Helicopter Flight School in Jandakot.In 2012 Heliwest was appointed as an Authorised Bell Customer Service Facility (CSF). This internationally recognised accreditation is a first for a Western Australian business and one of only three in Australia.
