The office of Inspector-General and Taxation Ombudsman assists taxpayers and tax practitioners to address complaints about the administrative actions of Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB). Generally, administrative actions relate to the conduct of the ATO and the TPB in their interactions with you, including the policies and procedures which guide these actions.
