OKNECA is one of 119 chapters worldwide that comprises the National Electrical Contractors Association. NECA is the voice of the $130 billion industry responsible for bringing electrical power, lighting, and communications to buildings and communities across the United States. While NECA traces its origins back to the birth of modern electricity, the Oklahoma Chapter was formed in 1944. Nearly 75 years later, three Charter Members still remain and are among the largest and most successful electrical contractors in Oklahoma. OKNECA represents electrical contractors of all sizes performing a wide range of services. With the availability of national, regional, and local resources, the Chapter prides itself on being the best source of information for the electrical construction industry. Today, OKNECA continues to build on its legacy of protecting the public and making innovation possible by promoting higher standards, quality workmanship and training for a skilled workforce.
