ABOUT THE SAFETY COUNCIL OF GREATER ST. LOUISThe Safety Council of Greater St. Louis is a Non-Profit 501 (c) (3), Non-Governmental, Public Service Organization, chartered by the U.S. Congress to bring safety education to the nation to reduce preventable injuries and accidental deaths. The Council has been promoting safety to the community since 1916. The Safety Council of Greater St. Louis is committed to making Metropolitan St. Louis a safer place in which to live, work, and play. Our goal is accomplished through the active participation of our members and the community in a variety of safety related educational programs and activities. These programs are financed by the program fees and contributions.
