Young Africa Publishing is a leader in niché publications with its roots in George. Started in 2009 by Eugene Hugo and Juan Hugo, they launched "South: Life in the Garden Route", a high-end lifestyle magazine focused on life in the Southern Cape better known as Eden. Liesl Hattingh joined the team in June 2010.At the start of 2011, the company opened an office in Stellenbosch where "earthworks: for a sustainable built environment" was launched. This is South Africa's leading magazine on sustainability in the property and construction industry. It highlights the people, projects, products, processes and policies that contribute to future proofing the industry.
