The mission of the Tourette Syndrome Association of Greater Washington (TSAGW) is to improve the quality of life of those affected by TS through education, advocacy and awareness in Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C.\\TSAGW is a non-profit organization comprised of an all volunteer Board of Directors, one part-time chapter administrator and numerous volunteers. TSAGW is a chapter of the national Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA). Founded in 1972, TSA is headquartered in Bayside, NY. It's membership includes individuals, families, relatives, and medical and allied professionals working in the field. The TSAGW chapter office is located in Deale, MD and is open on Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 9am-3pm and by appointment on other days.
