We are a leading underground precious metals producer focusing on high grade silver and gold deposits in the Americas. In 2010, we produced 17.8 million attributable ounces of silver and 144.4 thousand attributable ounces of gold, a total of approximately 26.4 million attributable silver equivalent ounces.Hochschild currently operates four underground mines, three located in southern Peru and one in southern Argentina as well as one open pit mine in northern Mexico. All our underground operations are epithermal vein mines and the principal mining method is cut and fill. The ore at our operations is processed into silver-gold concentrate or doré.Hochschild Mining is listed on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and is headquartered in Lima, Peru.
