World renowned manufacturer of pedal steel guitars, pitch-changing devices and related instruments. Shot Jackson was founder of Sho-Bud Pedal Steel guitars in 1955. Harry and David, his sons, worked with him up until the mid-eighties, when Sho-Bud was sold to Gretsch-Baldwin. Harry, David and his daughter, Dawn, began building steels again in 2005, under the name Jackson Steel Guitar Company. They have since developed four new patents in the stringed instrument world and continue to uphold an elite status in the manufacturing of pedal steel guitars.
