Diamond's Discount Liquor was founded by Joseph Diamond's in 1968 and originally traded as a family business.\\In line with the Diamond's Discount Liquor vision of becoming a national chain and its desire to align itself with a national supermarket retailer, Diamond's formed a partnership with Fruit & Veg City and Food Lovers Market in July 2012. Market Liquors was born and strategy is in play to grow both the Diamond's Discount Liquor and Market Liquors brands significantly.\\The Diamond's Discount Liquor and Market Liquors team comprises a team of professionals with many years of combined retail experience. The group is headed by a strong team of executive directors, namely Brian Coppin, Stephen Brown, Nigel Meintjes and Chris Steenkamp. Chris Steenkamp is the Managing Director for Diamond's Discount Liquor and Market Liquors.\\The group currently has Distribution Centres in the Western Cape, Gauteng and Mpumalanga from where we wholesale and re-distribute to our own liquor outlets as well as to other privately owned bottle stores, restaurants, pubs and clubs. Distribution Centres in other provinces will follow soon. We currently boast with twenty six Diamond's Discount Liquor stores in the Western Cape and Mpumalanga and four Market Liquor retail outlets situated in Gauteng and Bloemfontein, a further two Market Liquor stores are scheduled to open by mid October 2013, with 3 more before year end.\\Diamond's Discount Liquor and Market Liquors retail and wholesale both liquor and soft drinks and also provide a party and function service. We are renowned to cater for any function.
