Sport Central Association is a Canadian registered charity that collects, refurbishes and redistributes sports equipment to disadvantaged children wanting to participate in sports and recreational activities. We have a number of Alberta Services agencies, Social Workers, aligned charities, schools and individuals who refer qualified families and children to us. Kids who want to participate are enabled to play the sports they want. Edmonton and area is the first priority, but many other communities from Red Deer to the northern border of Alberta are our focus. We believe other major centres across Canada need to reproduce our service model and we are willing to provide resource people and information to help enable more children across the country get active and access the riches sports have to offer human development and health.
