Family Life Services is one of the oldest nonprofits in Colorado Springs, having opened in 1942 as the Christian Home for Children. FLS helps families build a foundation to make a new start. We offer residential and outreach programs for single moms and their children designed to provide better futures through opportunities for spiritual, emotional and financial healing.In this small community, moms create new futures together. We have a two-year Resident Program on our campus that includes nine apartments for families. In this intimate community, moms and their children find a refuge from their concerns and the freedom to breathe as they work toward changed lives.We provide a support community for families living throughout El Paso County through our outreach program, Women of Courage, with mentoring, education and spiritual encouragement.With the valuable contributions of our volunteers and donors, Family Life Services has been blessed with a rich heritage of ministering to the needs of families for nearly eight decades.
