Meraki [mA-‘rak-E] is a Greek word meaning to put "a part of your soul" into everything that you do, particularly in artistic endeavors. It is with this ethos that we approach the development and production of film, television and digital projects for studios, networks and brands. We specialize in identifying powerful stories from underrepresented voices (namely, women and people of color) and building the infrastructure to tell them. In addition to creative & production services, Meraki provides consulting services and content strategy for emerging platforms.Emmy-nominated producer Katie Christian founded Meraki Pictures in 2019 after leading the creative production of multimillion dollar programming slates at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios and StyleHaul, a female-focused digital media and marketing company owned by RTL Group. Christian has produced original and branded story-driven content, domestically and internationally, for clients including Walmart, Amazon, Google and Proctor & Gamble.
