Chartered on May 8, 1962, we in the Longview Greggton-Rotary Club proudly refer to ourselves as the "Action Club of the Action District." A review of our more than 50-year history supports this statement with our commitment to producing fundraisers that allow us to consistently give back to the community in significant ways. Our recently crafted Vision Statement reads: The Longview-Greggton Rotary Club exemplifies the symbol of Rotary — a gear — with its attributes of SPEED demonstrated by an engaged membership that energetically applies itself to affect positive change in the community and the world; FORCE achieved by developing bonds and strengthening relationships through meaningful collaborative fundraising opportunities that improve quality of life locally and globally; and DIRECTION by mentoring, educating and inspiring our membership and others to ensure future success of the Club.
