Cliffton Dry is a new style of sparkling wine in the specialty category that is made with fresh apples fermented in the same method as prosecco, using apples resulting in a low ABV, low in sugar, light everyday sparkling wine.My "lightbulb" moment was triggered while working with a wine client, Wolffer Wine & Estate. Darcy &Partners the Agency of which I was a partner, hired me to position their wine from a product to brand. As Head of Strategy and Creative Direction, I led the team on Brand Audit, Market Research, Stakeholder Interviews, Trade Industry Research, Brand Book Design, New Design Direction for Packaging, Logo, labeling, Collateral, and Advertising.  I've done the same for Cliffton Dry. It was during the research and development of Wolffer,  I unearthed the emerging appeal for low ABV natural sparkling wines that are sustainable, support an aspirational healthier lifestyle, and are made from alternative fruit and supply chain issues calling for American made high-quality products that are premium, scalable and support local agriculture. Its been my passionate belief in Innovation for food & wine on a global scale was my passion for helping to find solutions that eliminate the absurdity in the system of stripping the nutrients out of our food and beverages, replacing natural fruit with chemicals.  The future luxury brands are those that develop their products from local, clean agriculture so that together, we can help stem the tide of eliminating food waste, and help bring economic stability to local farms building healthier communities. Once I started down this path, I was hooked. My entrepreneurial spirit was unleashed. I downsized the Agency to an SDH Strategic and Brand Consultancy. With a seasoned team and a rigorous test market behind us, Cliffton Dry has partnered with a licensed production partner in OR. Today, I'm on the board and work with Cliffton Dry as a Consultant in my area of expertise, Strategy, and Branding.
