Comal County Habitat for Humanity was incorporated in the state of Texas as a non-profit corporation on July 28, 1993. It is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.We have built 42 homes as of Fall 2017 in Comal County all with donated funds, labor and materials. Habitat homes are not subsidized homes or promoted under any federal program. Comal County Habitat for Humanity initially holds the mortgages for completed homes. All homeowners pay a no-interest loan to Habitat.
