Enspired Solutions was established to tackle one of the most pressing environmental issues worldwide. Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), a group of synthetic chemicals that have been widely used for more than 60 years to make firefighting foams, coatings, and lubricants. Due to their high stability in natural environments, PFAS are also called "forever chemicals". Current applied technologies aren't getting rid of the contamination, but rather capturing the PFAS in carbon or resin and transferring it elsewhere. This new venture aims to commercialize a USEPA-award winning, patented technology to permanently remove and destroy PFAS into nontoxic byproducts, which helps clients erase concerns about ongoing liability, and benefits human health and the environment.
