UrbanPromise is a community-based nonprofit located in Camden, New Jersey. Our mission is to equip children and young adults with the skills necessary for academic achievement, life management, spiritual growth, and Christian leadership. We seek to fulfill our mission through after-school programs, summer camps, two private schools, teen job training through our StreetLeader Program, and experiential learning. Our programs have inspired replications around the country and even across the globe in countries like Malawi, Nigeria, Dominican Republic, and Uganda. From boat-building to job training, UrbanPromise is preparing the next generation of youth for leadership within their own communities and beyond.
