IIA-Australia is the national professional body representing the internal audit profession. We are responsible for leading the direction of the internal audit profession in Australia. Our purpose is to provide knowledge, training, advocacy and representation to promote the standing of the internal audit profession, as well as to develop internal audit best practice within workplaces.\\IIA-Australia enables our members to excel in their profession by providing services and benefits that contribute to their skills, professional effectiveness and careers. Our members range from students through to senior executives and Audit Committee members. Globally, the IIA represents more than 170,000 members throughout 165 countries.\\Established in 1952 with 13 formation members in the Sydney Chapter, IIA-Australia has grown and developed into a thriving and dedicated national organisation which represents internal auditors across Australia.
