While women make up approximately half of the US workforce, they represent only 26% of people who work in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math). Further, only 12 percent of female college students will graduate with a bachelor's degree in science, and just 24 percent will continue to work in STEM 10 years after graduation.Nvolve is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to increasing participation of young women in technology, health and life sciences fields. We empower college women to overcome gender, racial and socioeconomic barriers to STEM fields by fostering optimism and positivity, creating opportunities to practice innovation, and forging connections with industry and academic partners.
