The Avanti Textile Mills is a most modernized spinning plant located in the heart of rich cotton belt of Madhya Pradesh. The Avanti Textile Mill has been promoted by Avanti Mill Workers Industrial Co-Operative Society and is one of the Unique Example in India for revival of a sick Government owned mill by its workers. The Mill, which was considered obsolete and loss making enterprise was closed down and workers were retrenched. The Government put the mill under auction for sale. The workers of the mill who spent whole of their life with the mill decided to revive their beloved mill and purchased the same on outright basis from Government in the year 2007. Since then, the workers strived hard to revive the mill and after constant efforts over the period, the Mill is now modernized with Installations of World Class spinning machineries picked up from leading manufacturers of Spinning Mill machineries in India and abroad.
