We started out as three clinicians with a simple idea. We wanted to educate patients at the time of discharge in a new and effective way. Faced with the reality that those paper discharge instructions were being tossed in the trash or forgotten in a pile of papers somewhere at home, we started making a few videos explaining different medical conditions in a fun and engaging way. Everyone loved the videos, but how could we share them with our patients? That's when we came up with the VidRx solution. We can now share our amazing videos with patients in a seamless manner, obtain valuable patient experience data, and allow patients access to their instructions at anytime, in an easy to understand way! At VidRx, our goal is simple. We want to elevate the level of patient interaction and education for the 140 million emergency department visits each year and to those admitted and discharged from the hospital.
