Mbadika (BAH-GEE-KAH) means ‘idea' in Kimbundu, a language popularly spoken in the Northern region of Angola. The word ‘Mbadika' embodies the entire spirit of this site to our organization.Mbadika, is a not-for-profit organization focused on providing youth around the world with the tools needed to overcome challenges in bringing their solutions for themselves and their communities into reality through educational workshops, online video series, and a product line of DIY (do-it-yourself) kits. Since 2011, Mbadika has assisted over 2,000 youth around the world to realize their potential and unleash their inner innovator and entrepreneur. Currently based in Boston, USA and Cape Town, South Africa, Mbadika is fostering youth-driven innovation and entrepreneurship around the world through providing opportunities to allow for such activities to flourish. Mbadika, to say it simply, is an organization about ideas and the people who create them.
