With over 25 years in the hotel & hospitality industry, we took the big step to chase the dream of opening the first all Sri-Lankan restaurant in the North of England, opening Ayubowan Restaurant in 2013 in Glossop, Derbyshire. The restaurant over the 8 years has been awarded several local and national awards and been included in articles such as The Times. Colombo by Ayubowan Sheffield is our first cocktail bar concept with Sri Lankan restaurant dining on the upper floor, located on Sheffield's trendy Ecclesall Road which opened in June 2019, and has become well known in the area for its delicious cocktails and tasty Sri Lankan street food.
